Niles District
Fremont, CA

The Niles District of Fremont is well known
for quite a bit. Niles is a district located on the east edge of Fremont.
I believe that it was at one point it's own City, but I'm not sure. It's
a cool little "Hey let's stop here and look around" kinda place.
There isn't a whole lot more than the main street where you can find antique
store after antique store lined up. You can find everything from antique
furniture to Victrolas to my personal favorite, "Beanie Babies"
(yes I'm being sarcastic) in stores with names like "Niles Antique"
and "Antique Junction". On a side note, just what is it with "Beanie
Babies" anyway? Am I the only one that doesn't get it? Anyway, as small
as the official "downtown" area is it's pretty cool just to stop
and take a peek around.
