 On Saturday morning we got up and decided to
head over highway 84 towards La Honda. Our destination was Pigeon Point
Lighthouse. We were on a mission to deliver a copy of an old newspaper that had been saved for nearly 60 years. It told the story of a shipwreck that had occurred off the coast and had claimed the lives of almost everyone on board. Jason's family had been saving it all this time because several of his relatives were among the lost. While we had discussed sending a copy of the paper with Ranger Nelson Morosini on a previous trip, we had come to the conclusion that donating the original to the little museum the lighthouse held would be better.
