 The newspaper had some really cool photos and articles
outlining the crash. The ranger had suggested that it would make a good
addition to the museum onsite.Upon arrival we were greeted with an unexpected surprise. Apparently a car club had made a stop at the lighthouse and we were treated to a mini Model A and Model T show. We were also able to take a "lighthouse tour". ($2.00 per person) Docents lead groups through the museum, and then up the winding staicase (110 feet pretty much straight up) and tell stories of past keepers and lost ships off the point. If you happen to go Jan-April you might get to see the migrating grey whales. After the tour we checked out the hostel
that the property houses. It seemed pretty homey with little cottages and
blooming flowers to welcome guests.
